A few of the faithful from St. Nicholas traveled to Holy Transifiguration Monastery on the Feast of the Transfiguration for their Patronal Feast Day. It was ablessing to attend vigil for the Transfiguration of our Lord on the monastery's 50th anniversary of it's founding by the Princess Illeana of Romania. Princess Illeana later became Mother Alexandra, the first abbess of the monastery.
