Blessing of the First Responders
After Divine Liturgy on Sunday, August 19th, we welcomed the weirton Fire and Police Department for our first annual Blessing of the First Responders. It was a great turnout with seven firemen, including Fire Chief Jerry Shumate and two firetrucks as well as 5 police officers and 4 patrol cars. We wish all our First Responders many years and blessings as they put their lives on the line each day for our community. Thank you
